S.F. DEA Update

According to Casey McEnry, public information officer for the DEA's San Francisco office, federal agents raided another indoor cannabis grow in San Francisco last Friday, June 24th. Three hundred plants were seized but no arrests were made. The DEA did not provide the location of the raid.

The San Francisco office of the U. S. Attorney said two of the eight defendants still wanted by the DEA in connection with the raid have turned themselves in. Van Nguyen is not among them.

Comments

Van has a federal public defender and is currently negotiating with the authorities to turn himself in.

Americans for Safe Access- San Francisco has declared that Van Nguyen, director of the Herbal Relief Center, was a generous friend to the medical cannabis community, and has demonstrated his compassion for patients everywhere.

We will make every effort to defend him against the preposterous allegations of the DEA.

What a coincident. A NIDA founded research claims that HIV + THC is a bad combination.
